Beauregard Hall is a 53,100 SF,two-story laboratory building that was constructed in 1960. It was the Physical Sciences building for Nicholls State University. Numerous minor modifications have been made during the building’s 68-year history. We were commissioned to completely renovate the building to accommodate the latest in laboratory technologies and teaching methodologies.
The building shell was retained. The perimeter envelope was enhanced with greater insulation to realize a more energy-efficient, high-performance building. Interior layouts were developed, resulting in greater floor space utilization and a more efficient flow of materials and people
